Welcome Message

Welcome Message

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year. It is an honor and a privilege to serve as Principal of the Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls. Over the past two decades, I have served in a wide array of educational leadership positions in the United States of America and dedicated my professional life to the education and social/emotional development of students. Most recently, I served as the superintendent and principal of The Cranbury School in Cranbury, New Jersey for eleven years.

I believe that students should be afforded every opportunity to discover their unique strengths and talents in a supportive and academically challenging learning environment. Beginning in the early years, it is important for students to develop intellectual curiosity and purpose that will extend far beyond the classroom and into adulthood. Teaching is both an art and a science. Teachers design lessons that foster growth and honor learning differences while also igniting a passion for learning. As a result, students demonstrate initiative and use their voice to actively engage in their learning and community. Moreover, students become productive citizens when provided experiences that foster an awareness and appreciation of diversity and social responsibility.

It is clear that the students at The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls are compassionate, kind, talented, creative, and determined. SZPAG administrators, teachers, and school staff have provided them with opportunities to shine in every aspect of their lives.

We are also excited to announce that Ms. Nicola Matthews will be the Head of Early Childhood as well as Head of Elementary.

I am excited to be a part of this outstanding learning institution and I look forward to meeting you and your children in the coming weeks. Thank you for your partnership.

Best regards,

Dr. Susan Genco

Principal
